India overcame Pakistan thanks to the fighting knocks of Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar, as well as an all-round bowling performance.
“I enjoyed my partnership with Pooja. I know she is a hard hitter and we both are strike rotaters as well. It was my first partnership with her and I had a great time batting with her,” she added.
India scored 244/7 thanks to notable performances from Pooja Vastrakar (67), Smriti Mandhana (52) and Sneh Rana (53*). For the seventh wicket, Vastrakar and Rana put on a 122-run partnership. India scored extra runs in the final five overs to push the total above the 240-run barrier.
On Thursday, India will face New Zealand in the tournament.
