Ravindra Jadeja undergoes surgery for injured right knee, hopes to start rehab soon
Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja knee surgery is successful and the all-rounder will start rehabilitation soon.
Jadeja suffered a knee injury earlier on Saturday, and as a result, he was ruled out from the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. This announced by Indian head coach Rahul Dravid prior to India’s Super Four match against Pakistan. It announced that Axar Patel, another bowling all-rounder, will take his place. On Tuesday, Jadeja posted on Instagram to let everyone know that his surgery went well and that he will shortly begin his recovery.
“The surgery was successful. There are many people to thank for their support and involvement – BCCI, my teammates, support staff, physios, doctors and the fans. I will start my rehab soon and try to get back to soon as I can. Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes,” said Jadeja in a post.

Before getting injured, Jadeja was having a strong Asia Cup 2022. He scored a match-winning 35 in the opening game against Pakistan and finished with figures of 0/11 in two overs. He did not bat in the following game against Hong Kong, although he did take 1/15 with the ball and played excellent fielding.
The star all-arounder is currently having a strong 2022, both with the bat and the ball. Jadeja has scored 201 runs in eight innings, at an average of 50.25, in nine T20Is this season. This year, his top individual score in the format is 46*. In addition to this, he has taken five wickets, with his best total being 1/15.
