This year’s IPL mega auction took place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.

Mumbai Indians paid Rs 15.25 crore for Ishan Kishan, making him the most expensive purchase in the auction.

Shreyas Iyer picked by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and then named as the franchise’s captain.

Cricket Australia has previously given a No-Objection Certificate to its centrally contracted players, allowing them to take part in the IPL 2022 season from April 6.

Although David Warner, Pat Cummins, and Glenn Maxwell will miss the white-ball series against Pakistan, but Cricket Australia will not immediately release its contracted players to join the IPL.

The players only eligible for their respective franchises once the Pakistan tour completed.

“Yes, we have granted NoCs to our players to be available for their franchises from April 6 in the IPL. The players can be available only after the Pakistan tour concludes,” the sourced had told ANI.
