IPL 2022: Hardik Pandya starts preparation, Gujarat Titans’ camp likely to be in Ahmedabad

IPL 2022: All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been putting in hard work as he prepares to lead the Gujarat Titans in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 edition.

Pandya is currently training with Abhinav Manohar, Darshan Nalkande, and Varun Aaron, while head coach Ashish Nehra is in charge of the preparations.

“Hardik Pandya, Abhinav Manohar, Darshan Nalkande, Varun Aaron are currently training at the IPCL ground in Baroda. Therefore, camp kickstarted on February 25 and it will conclude on March 2,” sources told ANI.

“The preparation camp for the entire team is most likely to be held in Ahmedabad,” he added.

The Gujarat Titans have assembled a youthful and energetic team. Moreover, at the mega-auction, the Gujarat Titans assembled a solid lineup. With marquee players like Mohammed Shami, Jason Roy, and Lockie Ferguson.

Gujarat Titans’ camp likely to be in Ahmedabad

Rahul Tewatia, Vijay Shankar, David Miller, and Wriddhiman Saha are among the players who will join the team’s draught picks Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill.

The IPL 2022 season starts from March 26 through May 29. In Mumbai and Pune, a total of 70 league matches will played over four international standard stadiums. However, venue of the playoff games will determined later.

Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will hold 20 matches, while Brabourne Stadium will host 15 matches (CCI). 20 matches will held at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, while 15 will held at Pune’s MCA International Stadium.

Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Lucknow Super Giants will compete in Group A.

Chennai Super Kings, Sunrises Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans will compete in Group B.
