India A vs New Zealand A: Ruturaj Gaikwad made a solid 108 off 127 balls on the opening day of the third and final unofficial Test on Thursday before New Zealand A rallied to defeat India A for 293.
Gaikwad performed admirably during his knock, which included 12 fours and two sixes. Despite having played very little red ball cricket during the previous 24 months.
Gaikwad, who has appeared in nine T20Is for India, combined with Upendra Yadav (76) for a 134-run stand until India A’s batting collapse resulted in them being bowled out for 293 runs from a solid 245 for four. In Upendra’s effort, there were two sixes and nine fours.

Rajat Patidar scored 30 runs off of 52 balls while Sarfaraz Khan was unable to open his account.
The opening two contests of the three-game series were draws.
