IND vs WI: Jason Holder seems fine, he should be available for second T20I against India, says Nicholas Pooran
India defeated West Indies by six wickets in the opening T20I at Eden Gardens on Wednesday, with Ravi Bishnoi’s two-wicket haul and superb performances from Rohit Sharma (40) and Suryakumar Yadav (34*).
After being hit on the chest during a practise session on Tuesday, Jason Holder missed the first T20I.
“Jason Holder seems fine, he should be ready for the next game. I do not know the details of his niggle, so I cannot say about that,” said Pooran.
Nicholas Pooran had earlier shined with the bat, scoring 61 runs to assist West Indies reach 157/7. Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel each took two wickets for India.

“I thought the wicket played better in the second half. The ball was also coming on a little better,” said Pooran.
India has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second T20I will be played at the same venue on Friday.
