IND vs SL: Will look to do same thing in 2nd T20I, says Ishan Kishan
IND vs SL: India batter Ishan Kishan said the hosts will look to repeat their first T20I performance against Sri Lanka on Saturday.
In the first T20I, India defeated Sri Lanka by 62 runs. In the three-match T20I series, the hosts have a 1-0 lead.
“Feeling very good to be here and be part of the team and performing well as a youngster when we get the opportunity. We will look to do the same thing today as well,” said Kishan ahead of the toss.
At the second T20I against Sri Lanka in Dharamsala on Saturday, India won the toss and elected to bowl first.
According to Ishan Kishan, the wicket appears to be dry, although the pitch is in good condition.
“Wicket looks pretty dry. There might be some moisture, but looks pretty fine,” said the batter.
Speaking about his last knock, Ishan Kishan said:
“I think as a batter I was just looking to watch the ball and play my shots. Even when I got out on 89 I was not thinking I missed my hundred. Just wanted to score a few more runs for my team.”
