ICC Women T20 Rankings: Indian pacer Renuka Singh surges to career best ranking
The leading wicket-taker at the Commonwealth Games, Indian pacer Renuka Singh, advanced to a career-high position of 18 in the most recent ICC T20 women rankings, which were revealed on Tuesday.
Renuka moved up 10 spots and made her debut appearance in the top 20 because to her 11 victories in the recently finished Birmingham Games, where India won the silver medal.
In Birmingham, Jemimah Rodrigues showed signs of form by scoring 146 runs. This helped her move up seven ranks. And reenter the top 10 batters list for the first time since October 2021. She is placed tenth.
Smriti Mandhana dropped two spots to fourth while Shafali Verma slipped to sixth.
Deepti Sharma gained two slots to reach the 36th position in the batters list.
Among bowlers, left-arm spinners Radha Yadav moved up to 14th.
