Asia Cup 2022, India vs Pakistan: Star batters Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul now have the most fifty-plus run stands in T20I cricket history.

The Indian opening pair reached this milestone on Sunday during the intense Super Four match against Pakistan at the ongoing T20 Asia Cup. Before Rohit Sharma was removed for 28 off 16 balls by Haris Rauf, the pair accumulated 54 runs in 31 balls.

They now hold the most fifty-plus stands in T20I cricket history with 14, a total of 14. Five of these stands are for 100 runs, and nine are for 50 runs.

The Irish duo of Kevin O’Brien and Paul Stirling follows them with a total of 13 such partnerships. Also including three 100-run stands and ten fifty-run stands.

Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson of New Zealand came in second with 12 fifty-plus stands. Also four of which are hundred run stands.

Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan of Pakistan, who have 11 fifty-plus stands. Also including six hundred run runs, are in fourth position.
