India vs Sri Lanka: During the ongoing second Test match between India and Sri Lanka, four miscreants were caught for trespassing on the ground in an attempt to disrupt the match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

As per the reports the incident occurred on Day 2 of the match on Sunday during the medical break for Praveen Jayawickrama’s knee injury. Rishabh Pant stepped in to bat in the second Test, and the southpaw immediately launched into his characteristic aggressive style, blasting boundaries and sixes, but the action was interrupted for a short medical break.

According to Bengaluru Police during the break time some miscreants trespassed. The trespassers apprehended and removed from the stadium.

Later the case registered against two adults. And two Juveniles at Cubbon Park PS vide under the section of Cr. No 24/22 u/s 447, 269, 271 Indian Penal Code and sec 5(1) Epidemic Diseases Act.

Shreyas Iyer, India’s highest run scorer in the previous innings, stepped into bat with Pant. And pushed India’s second innings total above 150 runs.

Pant caught and bowled by Jayawickrama shortly after reaching his half-century, leaving India at 189/5. Ravindra Jadeja and Shreyas Iyer batted together. And brought India’s total to 199 for 5 at dinner, extending the lead to 342 runs.
